Cartoon characters are loved by people of all ages. From the mischievous and funny characters that were introduced by Disney to action heroes and animated cartoons, there are a numbers of characters that have captured the imagination of children throughout history no matter where in the world they live in.

Mickey Mouse

The funny animal cartoon characters and the official mascot of The Walt Disney Company was created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks at the Walt Disney studios in 1928. An anthropomorphic mouse who typically wears red shorts. Large yellow shoes and white gloves.

Mickey has become one of the most recognizable cartoon characters in the world. Mickey who officially debuted in the short film steamboat Willie (1928 ) went on to appear in over 130 films , including the band concert (1935 ) Brave Little Tailor (1938) and fantasia (1904 ) Mickey appeared primarily in short films but also occasionally in feature-length films.

Ten of Mickey’s cartoons were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated short films, one of which, Lend a paw, won the Award in 1942. In (1978) Mickey becomes the first cartoon characters to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Beginning in 1930 Mackey has also been featured extensively as a comic strip character. He has also appeared in comic books and in television series such as The Mickey Mouse Club (1955-1996) and others. He also appeared in other media such as video games as well as merchandising and is a character at the Disney parks.

Bugs bunny

Bugs is an anthropomorphic grey rabbit famous for his flippant, insouciant personality a pronounced New York accent his portrayal as a trickster and his catch phrase ‘Eh……what’s up, doc ? usually said while chewing a carrot. Created by the Warner Bros,Bugs Benny made its debut in the year 1938. Bugs is best known for his starring roles in the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of animated short films. 

His popularity during this era led to this becoming an American cultural icon as well as a corporate mascot of Warner broche has appeared in more films than any other cartoon character is the ninth most –portrayed film personality in the world and has his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Frame .

Tom and Jerry

Tom is a grey and white domestic short-hair cat who usually lives a pampered life . Jerry is small brown house mouse who always lives in proximity to Tom. Jerry possesses surprising strength for his size, lifting items such as anvils with relative ease and withstanding considerable impacts with them. Despite the typical cat-eats mouse scenario it is quite rare for Tom to actually try and consume Jerry most of his attempts are just to torment or humiliate Jerry. 

Despite being very energetic and determined, Tom is no match for Jerry’s brains and wits. By the final “fade –out” of each cartoon, Jerry usually emerges triumphant, while Tom is shown as the loser.

However other results may be reached on rare occasions, Tom triumphs, usually when Jerry becomes the aggressor or when he crosses some sort of line. Sometimes, usually ironically, they both lose and at times they both end up being friends. Tom and Jerry are equally loved by children and adults all over the world. these cartoon characters were created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbara and made their first appearance on screen in 1940.

Scooby Doo

 This mischievous and slightly coward animated dog of the Scooby-Doo animated television series was conceived by animators ken spears and Joe Ruby in the year 1969. He is regarded as a unique Great Dane dog who is able to speak in broken English, and usually puts the letter R in front of noises made. 

Scooby Doo is quite popular among the people till now and has a very big fan following among the children.

Homer Simpson

The character in the animated television series The Simpsons Homer Simpson is the patriarch of the eponymous family. He is voiced by Dan castellaneta and first appeared on television along with the rest of his family, in The Tracey Ullmann Show Short Good Night in 1987. Homer was created and designed by cartoonist Matt Groening and named the character after appearing for these seasons on Tracey Ullman Show the simpson family got their own series on Fox that debuted in1989.

Homer is one of the most influential characters in the history of television. The British newspaper The Sunday Times describe him as “ the greatest comic creation of modern time.” He was named the greatest character “of the last 20 years” in 2010 by Entertainment Weekly, was ranked the second greatest cartoon character by TV Guide behind bugs bunny, and was voted the greatest television character of all time by channel 4viewers.

Goku

Son Goku, better known as simply Goku, is an fictional character and the Dragon Ball manga series written by Akira Toriyama. Goku is introduced in Bulma and son Goku originally published in Japan’s weekly Shonen Jump maganizne in 1984, as an eccentric monkey-tailed boy who practices superman strength.

Goku is initially belived to be an Earthing, but is later revealed to be member of an extraterrestrial warrior race called the saiyans in Dragon Ball. Goku becomes one of the universe’s mightiest warriors and protects his adopted home planet ,Earth, from villains who wish to harm it. Goku is depicted as carefree and cheerful when at ease but quickely serious and strategic minded when fighting. Goku is able to concentrate his Ki and use it for devastatingly powerful energy based attacks the most prominent being his signature kame_ hameha tecdhnique , in which Goku launches a blue energy blast from his palms. Goku appears in most episodes films television specials and OVAS of the manga’s anime adaptations Dragon Ball GT as well as many of the franchise’s video games.

Pikachu

Pikachu is a major character of the pokemon franchise _a collection of video games anime manga books trading cards and other media created by satoshi tajiri_and has become an icon of Japanese culture in recent years. 

Pikachu fights other pokemon in battles central to the anime manga and games of the series within the world of the pokemon franchise, Pikachu are often found in houses , forests, plains and occasionally near mountains islands and electrical sources on most continents throughout the fictional world. 

As an Electric type pokemon pikachu can store electricity in its cheeks and release it in lightning based attacks.

Doraemon

Doraemon is a robotic cat who travels back in time from the 22nd century to aid a pre-teen boy named Nobita. Deraemon possesses a fourth dimensional pocket from which he can acquire various kinds of futuriistisc tools gadgets and play things from a future department store. 

Doraemon originally had ears but they were bitten off by a robotic mouse in the 22nd century. As a result he developed a morbid fear of mice despite being a robotic cat. He also has the tendency to panic during emergencies characterized by him frantically trying to pull out a very much needed tool from his pocket only to produce a huge assortment of unrelated house hold items.
